Coventry Open Virtual Exhibition
I thought it had disappeared into the long dark night of the virus, but here we are again, in virtual form. I get a page towards the end of the slide show. And my own little page here.
Give it a look.

Meditation 3: Press
I was well into the batch of ironing before I realised that this was one of those meditation things. All external life becomes subservient to the trivial detail and creativity emerges, Stand-like* from who knows where.
I'm glad I didn't force this 3rd meditation (I had been thinking of various possibilities), but let it emerge naturally. Seems more in the spirit of the thing, really.
* See Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, from Part 3 onwards

Purgatory - Afterthought
I feel I was somewhat prescient in creating this image. Seems we are now entering a new phase of social distancing. Perhaps until now we have been merely practicing for the time when the government tells us to stay at home and don't connect. DO NOT CONNECT.

Art takes a bit of a pasting from COVID 19
Last night and this morning I've had emails from Warwickshire Open Studios and Coventry Open 2020 cancelling forthwith. At least I got 2 plus weeks of show out of Coventry. WOS may try for a weekend in September, but that doesn't really work for us. So will now be next year.
Just have to spend my time making more stuff for later.

Meditation 2: Porridge
Two makes a series,
doesn't it?
The story of many
mornings for me. Simple food to fill the belly. And those few minutes
of work involved in making it.
I conceived of the
print as a card, but my wife likes it as a framed picture. We're
giving a picture to a friend who has had a new kitchen. But I
definitely see it as a “make sure you're eating properly” card
for anxious parents to send to their student offspring.
